A mattress protector sits between your mattress and fitted sheet, taking the wear that would otherwise reach the mattress itself.

Waterproof protectors use a backing layer that stops liquid reaching the mattress, which makes them a sensible choice for children's beds, guest rooms and anyone wanting to protect a warranty. The same barrier also helps block dust mites and allergens from settling into the mattress.

Quilted protectors add a padded top layer stitched in a diamond pattern, giving a little extra cushioning as well as protection.

Fit matters: protectors are sized by both bed size and pocket depth. Our range covers depths from around 25cm up to 41cm, so measure your mattress depth as well as its width and length — particularly if you use a topper, which adds to the total.

Machine washable on a gentle cycle. Avoid ironing directly over the waterproof backing.
